We have three types of membership: Responding, Administrative and Special.
- Responding membership- is for members who wish to operate as firefighters, rescue technicians, and emergency medical personnel.
- Administrative membership is for members who only wish to be full members in all respects except they do not respond to emergencies.
- Special membership allows these members to assist only in the way they wish, such as helping at bingo or other fund raisers.
Requirements for Responding Membership are:
Age: Minimum of 16
Requires Training? Yes (we provide the training through county, state, or national programs)
Requirements for Administrative Membership are:
Age: No minimum, but anyone younger than 18 requires parent or guardian consent.
Uniforms and training are provided to you at no cost.
Members who meet state criteria may receive tax benefits and tuition benefits.

Meetings are held at our station located at 15 Central Ave. in Glen Burnie, starting at 7:30 PM on the first Monday of each month unless that falls on a holiday. In that case the meeting is moved to the 2nd Monday. Stop by some evening to pick up a membership packet so you can have all the forms filled out before the meeting. There is a $35.00 application fee. $20 is refunded upon completion of being able to ride. Our annual dues are $15.00 which are required of all members.
